Had 3day post meno bleed mid Dec again slightloss 1-2days end Jan. Ultrasound scan showed no inflammation mid Jan to see gp if further

loss as not given any info from gp. should I be concerned.

I would. I had a rare sort of tumour that started showing symptoms this way. Don't panic though as it was removed and I did not have to have other treatment. I must mention though that I had an hysterectomy and oophrectomy at the same time. Get a referral if you can.

Reassuring to have a reply. Surgery said i would be told if problem. I dont want to push things but at my age time is important.

Hospital appointmnt week Tuesday, not worried at moment. A lot wiser now from all info provided.

I would definitely see your GP ands ask for a referral. It maybe something or nothing but far better to be wrong.

Made appointment earliest next Monday. Referrals take months and months from my experience. Good of you to reply.

I would definitely go back. I had the same symptoms a year before my diagnosis. Only happened a couple of times, just a bit of light spotting really, put this down to post menopause. So didn't think to go to the doctor. The following year it happened again only this time it was almost every day and was getting heavier. Have you had a CA125 blood test? If not ask for one. Good luck hope it's nothing.

Have had womb type aches and pains since Feb 2010. told it was hips,irritable bowel, urinary. Didnt argue but in my head knew they were wrong. Apart from the shock of bleed at least the reason for problem could be from womb...and not immagination. Nothing shown up on on ultrasound, or scan last year, so still at a loss. Will not take pain tabs unless very very bad as I feel tabs cover up problem when undiagnosed. No other test done yet as early days and gp not said anything, so relying on your help and advice. Made appointment next Monday, receptionist said I would have been told if anything wrong... but insisted on appointment due to advice given here. Many thanks.

Hi, Still no blood tests. Had vaginal ultrasound, seems ok. To have general anaesthetic in few weeks when can be fitted in for uterine biopsy to exclude possible cancer. So no change at moment apart from period type pains getting worse, spotting same. Doctor and staff ok at hospital. Not worried just yet. Bye.

Hi, Anaethtist wouldnt do General on 9th for biopsy, have to see cardiac doctor, to see him 23rd March, then suppose will make appointment for biopsy. Now I think after all info given and ultrasound O.K all will be well so no longer worried. Even if I am wrong I have loads of information now. Appreciate all your info and advise.. xx

Glad you have made an appointment. If you are referred I believe they have to see you within two weeks - I think the other ladies using this site will concur with that.

Without your advise would have been keeping all to myself. More uterine pain and spotting today, might get more info tomorrow at hospital.

hi, hospital appointment for pre assesment Monday 5th for if ok Biopsy 9thMarch. Still suffering from cough since 13th Feb so may be delayed unless improve enough.

All being well biopsy a week Thursday, if no more set backs, on oestragen pessaries at moment. will be glad when over,still think will be ok.

Hope all goes well. Don't suppose you will be given any sort of a result straight away but tell me when you have. I was told nearly six weeks later and thought I was just going for a post op check up!!

Hi Anne-2, Unable to get your message today as keep having problems, telling me to sign in then not letting me. unable to view your message. Not sure why allowed me to do this then refuse me to view what you said. Havent a clue now how to send e mails as used to do then the way was changed. All going fairly well otherwise. Laptop allowed ok yesterday but not today.
